Ben,
The smoke discharge bracket that I was trying to find out info. on is - CTL 1381A Assy.
on page 219, illustration N0.44, in the Carrier Universal Mk1*and Mk11*, Illustrated parts Catalogue-1941-4. For clarification, (I`m a bit slow on the uptake) is this the bracket you are trying to make casts of?

Doug, yes that's the part! Still looking for a couple of people to have enough interest but we're getting there for discharger mount and lower thumb screws, long way off the upper screws.

are the upper screws spun on a lathe or cast ?

Hard to say if an original is turned or cast as I don't have one to hand. However a turned one will look very sharp and the one I have to copy has a nice worn cast look, don't think they'd be much in the price.
