Your images of the rear fender gap issue you wrote about. Once you have the Stacey attachment properly mounted on the original cast brackets, then fit the large stowage box, CTL 14297, it will be an outstanding No. 2 Mk. II*.
Have a look at the RCAF image of the No. 2 Mk. II* with the pintle attached directly to the pioneer plate. Thank you Lynn E. for the image. A cost effective way to mount the pintle until Kevin casts the brackets. M. Last edited by Michael R.; 24-06-12 at 19:27. |

Here is a picture of an original carrier that has a wood spacer installed as I am not sure that all MK2's had the Stacey attachment and I don't think that they would have made two different rear fenders. Sorry it is the best shot I have of the rear section.
