For starters you can credit the first and third photographs to W.E. Storey Collection.

Thank you.

I do have to say, that in my old age, I am starting to like the old deuce and a half more and more.

I know to most who know me and my pathological dislike of North American produced items this may sound strange.

Now that I am rebuilding a Ferret of Canadian usage I guess i'm warming up or going soft in my old age, I feel I can say that now I have turned 50, recently.

I went to look at one in really very good condition with a NOS rear box to go with it last fall. Gent wanted $5,000 firm. Runs and has been registered for the road already.

Our truck was employed in that manner in CFB Chilliwack.
It has been put back to original issue.

I found it interesting to note that 24v was given a seperate circuit for rear troop heater.

I guess that the "Death From Within" cooks had to be warm.
I thought that the burners and ovens might work ...

Yup, when was my last HOT Coffee from a hay box?

I think that I actually was fed from our truck,
back when I wore Green, A long time Ago!

Casey, why don't you just PM me, and you can hop over to North Van and see the beast. It was restored back to it's original configuration, and the only kitchen involved item still in it is my 24v MRE heater!

We will have it in BBY for Hats Off Parade.

Default Flying Kitchen Info Wanted

Absolutly Ed.
Picture of the truck sitting alone with two cooks was found on the net.
Picture found on the net of the Rose Cantina was found at Flicker or something like that.
Credit to W. E. Storey with my thanks.
Sometimes you get caught up in the search and you forget.
