Well I don't think its Grant because I think the M3 Medium drivers seat has a 2 piece seat, a pan and a back with seatbelt anchors welded on the back where yours looks to be one-piece. The M3 Medium has a variety of seats and I think the drivers pan and back is very similar to the 37mm gunners pan and back. But I'm interested to be edjamacated. The 75mm gunner sits on a agricultural implement looking seat which is clamped to a crooked pole which itself is sticking out from the 75mm rotator, The radio operator in the Lee sits behind and to left of the driver on a small bench-like seat, the loader and possibly commander up in the basket have fold down round seats and I'm guessing the 75mm loader sits on the 75mm square ammo chest or maybe on the right sponson where the side door is - or just hangs on to anything for dear life.

I'd like top know cos I think I've got one the same. I thought I got it from a place where I got some Grant bits years ago. It is light gauge steel and has the bifrucated rivets to indicate that it was upholstered quite well like the M3 mediums, but the back is relatively high and fairly upright. - Avro Anson..?

Default chapter ends

The adventures of my tanks are coming to an end for the time being.
My No.2 grant has been sold to a collector in WA while my No.1 tank is now for sale on ebay.
This is not the end of the story however.

Thanks to all for the support and help.

Default transport help needed

Hi guys, my M3 Lee has sold and needs a lift up to brisbane QLD. The new owner's son is having a little difficulty organising transport by himself as his father is in the army and has now been deployed to Afganistan. Has anyone got the details of some reliable transport between me ( west of geelong ) and brisbane?
