The last couple of pics in the previous is the original hydraulic pump but I found it was knackered, so I decided to pull it apart and get the centre shaft out and modify it to take a standard piston pump. I needed to use the original shaft because of the spline.

I made up an adapter for a soft start coupling, but made a stronger engine half.

All fitted very well and I just need a couple of hydraulic fittings that I don't have, and It's a go'er.

Hi Easo, very simple. The spool valve directs the flow to the hydraulic motor and depending which way you push the control lever it will go in forward or reverse. I will be making it into a rocker foot control, much like a ride on mower.
