There's a locker where you have the spare tire and the tire is mounted on the far side of it.

You are right, David.
In principle. The particular vehicle I wanted to show was modified by the Germans (and used for general transport, not in the foreseeen W/T role). For this vehicle, the spare tire was in the position shown in my drawing.
