I agree with Bruce. The bottom hatch would most likely be still in the KG#3 or the darker bronze green. Notice however that the upper hatch in your 2nd photo is semi closed. The verticle part of it appears to have the same paint job as the exterior of the tank.

Default Tanks in the East

Cliff

It's a neat little book written by a sergeant, he was in the 9th Div cavalry regiment . They trained on those tanks at Puckapunyal , and were issued them in the M.E., and then fought the Vichy french in Syria using them . You might pick up a copy in an op shop. I think the authors surname is Kerr ? MIKE PS I recall: John Belfield had the remains of two of them at one time .

It was published during WW2 while the author was still serving

Australian AFV in Syria were painted Light Stone with SCC7 Green.
