The marines themselves may have painted the cammo on so I'd be looking at US Marine Cammo pattern colours as I know they painted tanks and other vehicles with cammo during the Pacific War.

Thanks Cliff. Looks like there's 3 colours on that vehicle. At present I'll stick with the monotone paint job as it reflects who she belonged to, but at least wev'e got some information should the need ever arise to represent a LP2 in US Marine Corps colours serving in the Pacific.
