Clapped out?
I was shocked by this headline today... "clapped out ute"??? I was expecting to see some old HR Holden (1960s) but instead it's a recent Toyota.
Turns out it was unroadworthy due to damage including broken windscreen. The newspaper people (Alyssa Betts take note) should really be more responsible with their reporting! Clapped out means worn out, not damaged.

Clapped out
This is probably closer to the clapped out stage.

clapped out?
Keith,
That blitz is more roadworthy than the ute, it still has good tyres and no cracks in the screen, I think you could have found a better example eg Dooley's Blitz. As for the noticeably deceased donkey the 13 yro should have driven slower so his pet donkey could have kept up with him.

Dooley's

Perhaps this one. The windscreen and tyres are unroadworthy I think.
