It is for my Canadian 19 set in my carrier. I only need the mast sections, I have the mast base already.
Thanks John |

So you need (2) of the D rod sections, with possible spares. Some on Ebay at the moment, I also have some spares in the USA.

I should have said B set aerial set. My mistake. One short section, one longer with a machine thread on the mast base end.

I had an original B set antenna section. It's made from copper plated steel tubing ..from memory 3/16" diam. but check that . There is only one section ...its around 20" long as the freq. is around 240 Mhz.
The tubing , on the end has a 1/2" long BA screw, cheese head , the head of which is soldered into the tubing. The screw goesinto the metal top of the rubber base I had a box full of NOS rubber B set bases ... around 50 ..All gone now to various collectors . MIKE

If you have the antenna, I would be interested.
Let me know John |

If I was making one.. I would use a length of 3/16" brass rod and just turn down the end to 1/8" and put a thread on it with a die . It was painted in green OD anyway. No one will notice the difference ..it's just a thin tube after all
![]() BTW the coax lead from the 19 set to the B base is a tuned length ..it's worked out as a percentage of the wavelength . The B set was a useless thing in reality ... the crews hated the thing as it was more of a hinderance than anything.
