Default War and Peace show 2011 - whos going ???

Well time is fast approching when we will be sitting in a field in Kent either covered in mud or dust. Looking forward to seeing anyone from the forum there , we are back on our normal plot on the living history field opersite the shower block. I wont have the Comet there this year but look out for the carrier (Puddle Jumper) or the Daimler armourd car (Fray Bentos 3rd ) i wont list the modern armour or you guys will stop talking to me ( yes Richie we are taking 2 CVR Ts so you can get excited !!! ).

So whos going then ???? And Kevin have you told your wife you are coming down yet ?

Default Me two

Hopefully all being well with transporter I'll be there Friday, Sat & Sun with carrier.

Can't wait to see the carrier Rick well done. Will your Dad be with you?

Shall we all try and get into the arena together sometime Saturday, or perhaps we could gather somewhere for a photo shoot?

hi barry
i wouldn't go congratulating me just yet on the carrier as there's still plenty to do but finished or not as long as it's still running i'll be there and hopefully the old fella will tag along for a day or two.
even though it's not ready i've foolishly booked it in for a show this weekend and it's down for the battle reenactments so even though i've got no rad or engine armour i'll have to go, so tomorrow night i'll be fabricating something from ply to at least look the part and make it safe to be in the back. i do wonder sometimes if this hobby was a good idea
is anyone up for a carrier race when we're down at beltring ? i reckon there'll be 5 or 6 carriers there and i don't mind stumping up for a crate for the winner, which of course will be me with my light weight ply armour

rick

Ok Richie,

Not this year but 100% next year. This will be 30th W&P, we are trying to get as many carriers as possible together for that show (as in a previous thread) and yours should be finished by then which makes it +1

Cheers,

Hi Chris,
Nice to catch up with you again, at Beltring.

For anyone who did not manage to meet Chris, I also have a range of Keith's DVD's and will take them with me to the IMPS Combined Ops event at Headcorn aerodrome in August. PM for details or to reserve one.

regards, Richard
