Looking good Scott. Well done! This proves the days of "get it together by Monday" are long gone

Default Will there be a roll out or first drive video?

Scott

Yours has to be one the best M151 restorations I've seen.

Hope you have someone standing around with a video camera when you first drive it out of the shop as a completed vehicle ready for the road. The grin on your face should be something.

Cheers Phil

Thanks for all of the comments. This has been a real learning experience for me and there still are hundreds of little tasks left to do. Like everything else, if I could do it all again, there are a few things i'd have done differently, but yes Phil, it was all smiles when I took it around the block today. Everything was working very well. Diffs were quiet, Tranny didn't chirp between shifts, Engine was smooth and peppy. All the time going though the mechanicals was worth it.

Here is a pic of exactly how it sat when I bought it:

Here it is today sitting with my buddy Ryans M38:

Again, its not finished yet. Still need to finish painting the Cam Pattern, add the C/S and some Decals along with a bunch of small tasks. Also need some Windscreen Glass

Although it doesn't come close to some of the 151 restos i've seen from the US, my goal was to make this as correctly "Canadian" as possible. I hope I have achieved this.

Scotty

Default Well done

Scotty

Your restoration looks great, from one restorer to another, "Well Done", I also like the Me8 in desert colour.

Cheers mate

Tony

Thanks again for the kind words.

A small teaser as I start to put on the C/S Stencils, Decals and the first portion of the Cam Pattern:

Jon S (MLU Resident "Toaster Tech"), don't go killing me for having mine sprayed before I mailed yours
