Terry, I agree with you that the Home made Armoured car is a Landy, you can see the back of the bonnet and the mudguard, which are original.
Brian, the original, pre-Pig Armoured Humber was not known as a Pig, it had no name at all other than Humber One Ton FV1600 CT.
Don't think the name Pig was ever officially given, it just stuck around....

Life had some great photographers did'nt they.
Have seen some of these before, but feel free to keep them coming.

We had Mk 1 armoured Humber trucks in Northern Ireland before they were up-armoured and they were certainly known as Pigs then (1970).

Post # 9 second picture down.

left side 14 DM 76 is a series 2a 88" FFR Land Rover and to the right 51 BR 93 is a series 1.
