Don't know if this will help, but the attached template is for the 2nd Cdn Armd Bde. It will at least give you an idea of the style of the Maple Leaf .

Measurements:

Fmn Sign: 7 inches Wide x 5 ½ inches High

Maple Leaf: 3 ¾ inches High (bottom tip of stem to upper tip of leaf) x 3 1/8 inches Wide (tip to tip of leaf)
