Thanks a very good start now to dig deeper lol and try to find the bits we need. I am also trying to find out about the winch that fitted onto the back of the transfer box etc and to obtain same.

Bump. still trying to find out info to recover vehicles with wrecker. A frames etc, did they use chain slings, straight bars etc?

Grant what is the availability of reprints of that book at this time?
