Best left where it is

I wonder if its got the flextor suspension: the early ones had it. I'd rather have the early Falcon ute ? next to it

I would rather the XM as well .Was his fathers
Very bad design for the steering linkages in the Austin .goes around the world with about 6 joints just to get to the stubs !!!
He commented on boat like handling
Rich sent similar sentiment on the Austin "Very easy to find, very hard to get rid of"

Default Wow!

Is any data known on it please? I cannot see that it was ex-British Middle East at this juncture as I thought that all were # 12 cabs, then #13.

Default Aha!

I was hoping that you were going to say that!

I must check my notes but the first approaches were made from Canberra to the DND in Ottawa iun June 1940 about CMPs. I must now look to see if I cna find any evidence of any order placed for evaluation vehicles. It may be that there is no record and this is new history. Is the engine/serial number known please which will pin down its likely build month? Also, when it arrived?

Well done

Default worth the wait

Good on ya, seems like the stress of a border raid from ebay was worth it, Good to see it go to a good home where it will reside with other gt,s. Big w/end by the look of it.

Keith Once again I cannot thank you enough for your ongoing help

Would be good to get a copy of the ARN sheet at some stage

Would also be interesting to know how many Cab 11's and 12's there is in OZ in both marques that are known about
