Default fuse holder

Hi, Interesting, I had not noticed those holes before, on the tank hunter the front driver armour piece is off a british carrier and has not got those holes, when I aligned the armour it went in perfect, other intersting note is on a british carrier the dash holes are the same as on a canadian carrier, but the cable armour cover for the headlight utilisers the bottom dash mount hole for one of it's securing holes. On a canadian canadian built carrier there are two seperate holes, hence the inside cable guard cover wont fit, puzzled this one over for an hour until i looked at the uncut mortar carrier and realised the difference.

does this make sense, not saying all british carriers dont have those two fuse holder fuses but i think Mk2's dont?.

Kev.

Default Hi Guys

Firstly, Thanks for the feedback. I think the fuze holder mount being bolted to the front armour was short lived, but the holes were already jigged for, so lots of carriers have them.
Kevin, You havehigh lighted a question I had a while back , and then forgotten about. The photo I posted is of a MkIII. Both the Brit and Canadian MkI has the wiring armour thing about an inch lower and further toward the outside. So with the redesign of the MkII, they saved time by using the bottom dash mount hole also for the wiring armour,by moving that armour thing up, and in. I thought the wiring cover I have for the inside was made in correctly.

Default Holes

Hi, Guess I am going to have to drill those two holes for the fuse holder. Also relocate the armour cover to its correct Mk1 position and fill in one hole.

It took three high speed drill bits just to drill the two holes for the mirror bracket.
