The site link takes me to a debt consolidation service (ironic if you think how much we seem to spend on our vehicles). Your club can be forgiven for having interweb troubles.
Good luck with the work ahead of you.

Terry and others, yes we are aware of the problem with MJCQ website access and are working on it. Sorry for the inconvenience, I'll post a note when it has been resolved.
In the meantime I have mirrored the page to my home server: http://202.63.50.228/MJCQ/2011/Brisb...Clubhouse.html More photos of today's cleanup to come, it was a very good turnout for the working bee. Steve. |

Hi all
We had well over 25 members attend the working bee. More than 5 high pressure water units were taken along. I think that despite the dirty work all enjoyed themselves. We even gave a hand at the house next door. We removed all the furniture, ripped up all the floor coverings and washed the house out with the water blasters. The young follow who was renting it had only moved in 2 weeks ago and has new everything. Beds, lounges, TV, computer and so on. Most of it is now rubbish, I do not think you would get rid of the smell. The poor bugger was beside himself, He didn't know where to start. My thanks to those who attended. Many hands make light work. Thanks Keith for your kind words. There are still some 400 homes under water and many have only been able to get to their homes today. The news tonight said over 50,000 people volunteered to help the clean up in Brisbane today. The council set up staging posts and used buses to get them to the places needing help. Owners of trucks and earth moving equipment donated their machines and time to assist. Thanks everyone for your interest. Nigel |
