not to be too critical but......... that light stone appears to be the wrong shade (if it is meant to be 1940's light stone) ...unless its actually desert ZI pink in which case its spot on : i would love for my carrier to get used in a film but would have to specify i drove it and had a cameo part in the movie now that we have more carriers in use here it would be nice for HBO to do a band of brothers type affair about other commonwealth forces other than the US of A all the time.

Kevin

I remember the carrier that came back from the Falklands well we had it at Bletchley Park for many years. It was a fantastic little machine that run well.
It was sold about 2002 via Carl Brown to Shaun Hindle.
Shaun can tell us more what happened to her. I think it got painted green and is ever "Puddle Jumper or Windy"

I know the mechanic that worked on Evita next time I see him I'll ask about the others.

Who's got the one from A Bridge Too Far ? I may be wrong but did'nt Clive Huges supply those vehicles?

Richard all carriers are different. Don't worry to much about the shade of paint. There are never two carriers the same colour. Now as like 1940's paint it what ever colour you can get hold of.
I had to take my carrier to Buckingham Palace a few years ago and it's Guards Gloss Green, may be wrong but so right for the day.

Remember if it looks right it probable is!!!

A fantastic New Year to all.

Barry

Default Movie vehicle

Hi All

I watched an old wartime movie "Commandos Attack at Dawn" yesterday the plot is set in Norway, when the German troops envade the village they were driving "BLITZ TRUCKS", looked so strange. I would be pretty sure there were no CMP vehicles in the German Army, unless capted later in the war.

Cheers

Little Jo
