From what I understand, the importation process is long and convoluted and requires a lot of patience and some knowledgable people on your side.
I looked into this a few years ago and abandoned the idea by going an easier route; find something here you like. Unless a fellow is a serious collector that must have a certain piece and has some cubic dollars the end result is questionable. A deal for a few thosand dollars requires quite a few thousand more after permits, transportation, customs etc etc etc
