As usual your photographic skills are a joy to behold.
To hear the twin row wasp was and added plus. The little kid disapearing into the mud was great I hope he got out. Once again thank you for making life a little more enjoyable. Regards Col

Hi Keith,
Terrific slow-mo video there, great detail. Personally though a small part of the footage when your camera was not stationary was a little hard on my eyes with motion blur. Could just be me though at the end of a long day. Ryan |

Thanks for your kind words. Glad you like 'em. Also pleased you enjoyed the Boomerang short Col. It is a most charismatic and impressive aeroplane.
Ryan was it the shot from the Mack looking down you found hard to watch? Some of the shots of the Weapons Carrier with all the water were kindly shot by Andrew Macintosh, also the one of the Jeep coming towards camera with the muddy water. I've finally found some time to work on the Corowa 2010 DVD as you can see. It will be released as usual at the 2011 event - I can't wait for that! The stars of the show were MLU people - see if you can tell me who they are.

Thanks Warren
These sorts of things are fairly carefully briefed. In the last shot where the Boomerang lands overhead Matt Denning, the pilot planned a short landing near the beginning of the strip which meant I had to set the camera rolling and walk to one side, but the instruction for the low pass was "Just don't hit me". It's quite an exciting sight and sound. On the takeoff Matt deliberately held her down to build speed before zooming skyward. I have just added another short clip, this one is silent. I shot it at dusk from the back seat of a Harvard and it shows the only two airworthy Boomerangs in the world flying together for the first time from the Temora Aviation Museum. Here it is: http://vimeo.com/16309149

Excellent footage Keith. I can't wait to see some of the interviews especially some you did on Sunday afternoon after a few people had been having wine or two. I have had numerous emails and phone calls from people who want a copy of the DVD.
