Thanks Howard,

I can already see the benefits of associating with fellow restorers and appreciaters of historically significant vehicles. I have wanted a Blitz ever since my Father had shown me a photo of him next to a Chev he was driving in New Guinea (Rabaul to be exact).

Unfortunately, Dad is gone now, but the photo which appears next to my user ID is him in 1944. He used to say BLitz trucks were "as rough as guts" but were virtually unstopable and dependable. That's a good enough recommendation for me.

Look forward to talking to you in the near future. Will post pics when I can, or when there's something to show.

P.S: You don't know anyone wanting to sell passenger side (drivers mate) mudguard or windscreens by any chance. Knew I would need windscreens, but just decided a replacement m/guard was best.

Bye for now,

Tony Baker.

Default Wanted - Blitz windscreen frames - Cab 13

Looking for a set of windscreen frames for a Ford Blitz Cab 13.

Will consider ones which can be used as pattern for fabrication.
