Also had some interesting tractors (V4 diesal, Lanz Bulldog and 4 reasonably sized Cletracs)
Was interested in the little International AB 120 4x4, but will pass now. Series II Landie looked good from the front and passenger side, shame about the drivers side which appears to have been rammed. Rich. Pallets of V8,s pic

Hi Guys
I looked at these bits about 3 months back, we arrived early and the owners were working on them......The engine is stuck, the cross drive has been modified. one gearbox has the main mounting boss broken off, the input shaft has been scoured with the oxy. the other box has one of the fan mounting supports broken off and the input shaft is also cut. Both box's dont turn. All bits are water damaged. The owner stated that they paid 6k for them (a pair) and they wanted 3500 on the day......Needless to say I whent home with out them. Having said all that, the bits are a good source of parts. I will see you at the auction ! Kind regards Matt |

The scrappies missed out on the Matilda bits, which have now gone to a good home, they did get the Blitz for $200. For Keiths benefit it was not a CGT, but probably an FFW 134inch cut down to a much shorter size. Did not have the extra bolts on the bottom of the swivel pin housings.
The pallets of V8's went for "not much" (I missed the actual price), one chap grabbed a complete crane because the V8 in that was the best on site. The "Bazookas" mentioned in an earlier post were 2 very rough PIATS, the "Bullet Holders" were apparently Limber ammunition trays (Seen heaps of them arround in the past, now I know what they are! Saw a shed that had the posts made out of these welded back to back and end to end). These items also went to a good home. Cost me a coffee and a sausage for a days entertainment. Rich.

Thanks for the report Richard
Glad it wasn't a CGT! But looked like a handy yard crane all the same. Bet the inclement weather had an effect on attendance.

I noticed your low profile and thought I would leave you in peace, did ask you what the PIATs went for though.
