I like the bearded Swiss veteran with his horse and the SG57 (?) rifle in the scabard. How many jumpers got out of the DC3, or was that just a bundle drop?

Sturmgewehr 57 is correct. And all in all 16 parachutists were dropped in several approaches of the plane.

I Enjoyed all these photos. A wonderful collection of vehicles. The U.S built some great vehicles in WWII. (what happened?) I love those 3/4 ton Dodges.
