The speedometer in the T-16 was made by Waltham Clock Company. Essentially a Jeep pattern speedometer but Waltham supplied Ford in the last two years of the war. Any jeep speedometer will fit but if you are a stitch Nazi, Waltham was the only maker I know of that put their name on the face where it could be seen. They tend to be fairly rare now as well.

A normal British/Canadian speedometer will fit into the instrument panel but you'll need to reverse the gear set in the angle drive adapter since the speed indicator was designed to go the opposite way from the USA made gauge.

Pending on what you want to work from.... and what carrier you heart is set on, i know of a universal carrier (welded hull) and two lloyds up for sale exceptionally cheap........HOWEVER the two lloyds are but chassis, one totally bent and the other pretty bad.... the Universal has been shot up with LAW rockets......alot of work in all of them and they are on UK soil, i have no connection with the seller but if you PM me i will give you his details......once you have had the chance if you dont want to proceed i will post up location and images on a seperate thread for anyone else who may be interested.

hi alistair
i've got a friend with some track and wheels which he might let you have so a bare chassis could start to look viable.my advice would be just buy a t16 and worry about the bits later, with all these forum connections you're bound to get all the stuff you need.
