I have always wondered about the question, did we phase out the Mk2 / 3 universals with T16's ? or did we go to the 432's I know that 432's go way back into the 60's not sure if any earlier... I know during national service (1950's) my uncle said they had carriers used as a general dogs body runabout work horse, but they did not really use them as assault vehicles (so to speak) anymore during his service

incidentally on www.ww2talk.com there is a thread there on weapons and technology section and a similar discussion regarding the use of T16's (and for how long) by other countries being used well into the 60's heavily modified by this point infact if i recall one actually looked like a CVRT
