Iam sure he will keep the offer open.....he would be throwing cash away if he didnt....i think Kevin has the right idea though, we need to get one done and tested on a carrier to see if it holds up to the abuse...

Default Re rubbering

Richard

Just found old details of a company that re rubbered my wheels in 2001.
R J B Rubber, Grange works, Batley, WF17 6LN.

They may still have all the details, Contact Trever Brown.

They did some expirements to get them right, as if they get to hot they strip off. So you have to get the material correct.

cheers Barry. I spoke to my old man about removing the old stuff he reckons a laithe with parting tool will be best i may have access to a laithe with enough throw to fit the wheels to.

Barry do you have any pictures of the wheel you had done ? can you recall what material they used ?

cheers

Richie

Default Re rubber?

Sorry can't find those details.
Best speak to Trevor at RJB if he's still there.
Perhaps this is something Martyn can check out as I think Batley is near him?
Yes your proabley right about removing with a laithe.
What i should have said is, if the new material rubber is wrong they will strip off on your first trip because of the side presure of track wrap.
