Hi Eric
On the voltage regulator I doubt that the original would have lasted 65 years... hard to tell.... all the ones I have seen on old trucks do not have the red tag on them. In any event you probably would not want to trust it anyways. The best source for a replacement...plain black almost same size as the orignal... is a farm tractor shop and they will have repro in 12volts and 6 volts....... with the saem connections. On your removable nose bracket...... best bet is to find a suitable size angle iron and fabricate your own....... the original was made from a 1/8 thick flat steel bent in a large press..... a local steel shop can bend it for you.... all depends how original you want to be.
