Here's a low res shot off ebay. It's a 15 cwt cab 12 with a Bren Motley in a 2B1 box. It has the stowage link hooked up and it sits the Bren level. I thought they would sit down at the rear. I'll have to rethink this when I get around to making the link for mine.

Richard, you don't have any schematics on the PLM mount that you modified do you? Could you possibly reproduce another complete mount?

Yes Richard, I'd be interested in a mount and chair, or detailed drawings, have just got a glass negative scanned of the B4 Norton Motley, it even shows the maker; "HYDRA" it's rivetted on the main post behind the seat, anything known on the manufacturer??
Can post more detailed pictures of the mount, here's one: ![]() Cheers, Lex Last edited by welbike; 15-08-11 at 23:07. |

Thanks Dusan, but have seen that mount in the museum, and took some pic's.
On the Hydra/Lewis Motley Mount, found some more snippets, it was the company Hydran Products Ltd. from Staines Middx. that did development and production on the Motley mounts, and other rocket type of mounts? will search further!! Have found out that Lewis Motley probably worked for the Hydran Products Ltd. and he started patenting many military inventions at the outbreak of the war, before the war the company was involved in central heating supplies and such things.
