The DND plate is the first, followed by the CANADA affixed over the DND and then we have the current CANADA plates. I think your DND plates are about 40 years old.

I picked up a late DND plate last year with the CANADA plate screwed on over top of the DND. Some one gave me the one in red quite a while back but I do not know what it would have been on. The new one I found at a local flee market.

The red one is for civilian vehicles owned by military personnel in Europe.

Sure. and who can make an UNPROFOR plate, too, in the Euro dimensions? I did 6 mos out of Skopje, Macedonia from July 1993-Jan 1994.

CFR#42782 was off of a 1955 M-37CDN, Serial No. 9140442. It had an ECC 122105 and was at one time a HQ vehicle in the Canadian contingent of the UN in middle east mission in Damascus. The UNDOF mission perhaps is what I believe it refers too. Truck was disposed of 30 Sept 1974 as servicable.
