Matt, Tony is very handy with the spanner, the only problem you may have is the supply of food to keep him going.
One night we left here before tea to organise hay making for that night, as it turned out we thought we had better get on with the job, the look on tonys face when he realised he was going without tea was worth a mint (he just stood there looking at me what about tea?). Then we had to lead him on kidding that we were going half way to the coast that night to bale hay, that kept him enthused ![]() ![]() After being at your place we can see Tony would be amply fed. I guess its been a while but progress has slowed a little with my work been 3 thousand miles away from the workshop. We have however made good progress and are hoping to get the first engine sorted as soon as we sort out the crank shaft main bearings.
While investigating the non charging generator we aslo found a little trouble with the feilds !! No dout the engines have been in the vehicle for at leat 60 years so now one of the worst jobs has started, The washing of the bits and bobs..... life with Armour is always an adventure ! Kind rgegards |
