Has anyone got photos of the second vehicle with its clothes on

Modified GT Chassis C291QH

Range must have been limited as it only has a single 12 and a 1/4 gallon tank although an auxiliary tank (Unknown size) was installed when the hull was fitted

David,

Thanks to research done previously in MLU, we know that under contract S/M 2256, 480 C291QH "4 x 4 F.A.T. for Royal Engineers" were exported to India. Interestingly, I have been looking for what these chassis looked like "as supplied", the answer was here under my nose on MLU

I think this chassis was used as the basis for the Armoured Truck, 4x4, Indian Pattern. See a attached scan from Bart Vanderveen's book Historic Military Vehicle Directory.

Would it be possible for you to scan the manual and make it available to us here on MLU?

Hanno
