This contract falls approximately into the sequence of others listed by David, but is not listed for Australian delivery. The engine number and contract number suggest that this Ambulance might have been built or supplied in 1942, but the build date on the tag shows 2/3/45. Could it be as Keith suggested in Data plate mystery, and these were supplied with the chassis and details were applied upon assembly?
