Just sorting through some old picture folders and I came upon 3 photos taken by my brother Nick in the mid 80's.
Showing a Derelict C15TA in Alston in Cumbria. Estimate date to be about 1985? The pics show bits of what looks like gearbox laid in rear floor. The vehicle was rescued for restoration I believe and rumoured to have found its way initially to a collector on the south coast of UK. Be interested to hear who owns it now. The next three photos are also a C15TA. First two show my 1958 88 wb Petrol GS Land Rover doing what Land Rovers the world over do in there spare time, Being used to bump start a Friends C15TA, First attampt failed as truck wheels were turned at an angle and rather than rotate just dug in and just brought me and my Land rover to an abrupt halt. Next attempt shows the truck on the move! Another happy customer. ![]() G M Armour.jpg G M Armour no 2 pic.jpg G M Armour no 3 pic.jpg G M Armour Bump start MK1.jpg G M Armour Bump start MK2.jpg |
