There was a batch of SWB LandRovers imported to work on the James Bay Project back in the 1970's. There were 'around' but never very common. Except for commercial vehicles which are SUVs in Westmount, the only other source of LandRovers is BATUS.

That is a fantastic job!
I know of one of those close to my house, but the frame is gone! All I know is that it has an aluminum body.
Maybe if I ever get the M38a1 fnished I'll go scare it up

Again great job

Mark..
Don't wait..go get that body and whatever else you can retrive...if you wait you will loose it..to the scrappers..aluminum scrap is to attractive to let sit..
Go get it...Put it in the spare bedroom if you must...contact Bruce Parker for instructions how to do that ..He had his whole Fox,armoured car in pieces in his house in Napanee the last time Don Dingwall and I went to visit him...Save that body..or it will be gone..

It's was dragged into a shed a while ago and is safe there. I talked to the owner of it last week but still have been unable to see it.
I'll try again this week and see how far I get, I do have a friend with a barn close by I'm sure I can store it in....

Cheers
