its around 6893lb 3.12tonne metric i wouldnt want to have brake failure when its be hind the morris gun tractor  the brakes are the best they can be but with modern day drivers the way they are  the polsten carriage manual ive checked states it is a bendix s228 part number or cat number csp125/1 don know if this cross references any the part numbers used by ford or cmp i just wanted to say thanks again lads i hope to resolve it with your good help cheers davey
