Well, it was a bit cold on Senlac Hill in October so I went off into Hastings itself for some baccy and a cup of tea. I stayed chatting to an interesting guy about old army trucks all day and when I got back William had conned Harold into an ambush and won.

Bit of a bummer really, but the Saxons did bring some new words which are very efficatious at freeing bits of recalcitrant truck and upsetting people.

'Parrently Williams Saxons had been verbally abusing the Harold's Normans all morning with the new-fangled words such that they ran down from the excellent defensive position on Senlac Hill where William saw them off.

I buggered off back to Hastings for some more tea and a smoke.
