Hi Jeremy,
7 to the gallon sounds a bit thursty to me!. My C30, which is a wee bit heavier than yours, managed 14 mpg going down to Portsmouth a couple of months ago, and that's running a 216 ci. Short runs and she will average 10 mpg. Might be worth checking your jetting and carb. Good to see you are on the road Regards Keith
