The truck pictured is an International Harvester based on the M3-L4 WWII IH chassis. It was referred to as an FFN-3 and was used by the US Navy and US Marine Corps as an Airfield Crash Truck. I believe it has a Bean pump and about 1100 were produced.
Even from the picture the truck looks good and is certainly worth the money. I have to many Fire Trucks or it would be mine. Bill |

Thanks for the offer of the truck Bob but I'll have to decline. What I'm looking for is pictured below: a Canadian-built 40 or 41 Ford 112" wheelbase 1/2 ton chassis that had both military and commercial applications. I know a lot of them were exported to commonwealth countries. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Joe.

Will keep an eye out for you Joe but it sounds like they would be hard to find in Canada if primarily for export......
Bill If you change your mind we can deliver it for you..... looking for an excuse to visit Phil Waterman...... Bob
