Tony, Of course you have read Mikeīs thread 9.00 X 16 U.S. versus British wheels, donīt you? It isn't so much a case of the 0° versus 5° degree bead angles, but the considerable difference in bead diameter. ![]() Hanno [ANORAK OFF]

Absolutely, Hanno!
It seems you have read my new Signature. It is of course a variation in the bead diameter that makes the fitting of the tyres such a problem, even though both types are nominally 16", but MRF identifies the 2 by bead angle, 0 deg or 5 deg, and it would be better to know of which we speak when ordering.

ok is there a national tire shop i can get them from? i only have 10 days to prep it for storage.
also the frame is chewed up. but for what i want its great, even got some extra bits in the deal. i plan on putting a modern motor and breaks on the beast and i have someone linned up to make a new frame. none of the new stuff will be seen. i want something i can drive at events that i wont have to worry about not making it home, and it would be safer.

Stops for a rest ... thats a euphemism for "XXXX , the damn thing " has stopped again. I was going to put up a page on the MCC site for the 4X4 C8's... will do it soon . There seems to be more of those around than the earlier vehicles ... PU and CS8 for example . Mike
