A deeper look at these:
By the looks of things, they were most likely used in an M37 Radio Van (M42?) or similar, based on their age. That being said, the NSN returned applications for almost everything M Series from the late 50's through to the 70's. Its externally regulated, so it would require a matching 100 Amp Regulator.
