Hi Rob, thanks for the reply. I'm unable to post pics as I have no camera or computer. 'YET' - I keep coming up against this problem and it's frustrating me and the rest of the MLU community.
I have found elsewhere on the net enough info to confirm that what I have is a couple of 18 Pdr recuperator tube end housings and some, but not all of the elevation and traverse gear and sighting vernier. All of which will go well with the Museum's 18 Pdr projects. Cheers Phill

The photo posted by Bob looks like an 18pdr Mk IVP with a box trail carriage. The Mk VP had a split trail carriage.
