 What a great weekend!!I too must thank Arron, Rod, Gav and Alan for all the work they have done to make it so good and spending the entire weekend giving us joy rides.  A big thanks to Sam Scholtz, Phill Lloyd, Wayne Kotz and M8 Steve for carting there large vehicles there and not being afraid to show us what there machines are capable of. Also a thanks to those who helped me float the jeep in a tarp. I was mildly confident we could do it until Saturday night Ian Greves told us the last time the club tried it in 1974 the tarp got a cut in it, the jeep sank and had to be recovered by a Diamond T wrecker. Thanks Ian! I am glad we did it unassisted by pumps, cranes or any modern technology.(apart from the black plastic, I was unsure how strong the old canvas was) I am already planing the next stunt with the Jeep.
