Default Mystery P-40

Jim:

I would have to go with North Borneo. Note the SEAC markings on the upper wing and fuselage. Conjecture is that it is an a/c of either 4 or 76 Sqn RAAF. Upon closer examination, the tail marking would appear to be some type of mythical bird. The part above the head would be the starboard wing of the bird and the tail is clearly visible just below the small black horizontal line on the tailfin. It's not a "side on profile" it appears to be more of a 3/4 side view of the beast.
