This late production F60L had obviously been involved in some rough stuff, the nature of which isn't entirely clear but looks to have involved a roll-over.

Forgive me if this has all been covered, no doubt it has.
Ours have an interesting history as well Keith, Originally intended as a lightly armoured observation vehicle, I don't think any saw active service in WWII. A few (how many Lynn/Rob?) went to Korea as Gun tractors. Post war the armour was removed and the majority were tuned into off road fire fighting units. I think more survive in this guise than as original units. The hulls were placed into a river as part of the river retention scheme. At least 2 hulls have since been removed from the river. I got to drool over Waiouru Museums one last year; ![]() ![]() ![]() |
