Default New Cylinders vs sleeve

Hi John

The sources mentioned are ones I have used in the past, yes Chev's have FORD brakes on CMPs.

One point to consider is that new replacement cylinders are still cast iron and they will rust eventually. On two of my trucks I searched for and found new wheel cylinders, on both of them I eventually sending them out and having them sleeved. So if you have brake cylinders you may want to consider having them sleeved instead. The sleeved cylinders out last new cylinders, in my experience, by factor of 3 or 4. So new cylinders last 4-5 years and sleeved are going 10+.

Cheers Phil
