Did you ever look at your plates to see if it was an Air Ministry (AM) or WD Generator.

The data plate which should have the information is warn blank there is a stamp of some type but I've been unable to get a good picture of it. I'll have to haul the generator out of the loft and put it on the bench to see if I can get a useable picture.
