Default Kookaburra and Cossack

Hi Matt,

Great photos thanks for posting.
Any idea which regiments Kookaburra and Cossack belong to?
I have T72908 in my WD database but nothing in the unit field. Any additional info would be a help.

Cheers
Kevin

Kevin,

Kookaburra served with 1st Light Tank Company, Australian Tank Corps in the Sydney area. It is a MkVIa Light Tank. British WD no. T1798, UK Reg. no. CMM982 and Australian Army no. T278

Great photos indeed Matt.
Any dates ?
Some of the latter look post war, late 40's? Thinking of the ones that appear to be at a demo day, and is that an early Centurion?

Default Kookaburra

On the back of the photo it details:

"A Sqn 2/7 Div Cav Regt training at Redbank Qld 1940"

Nothing is recorded on the back of "Cossack"

Kind regards
Matt
