W-won-wonderful.....
I am partial to the cab 11....... any more pictures from all 4 sides...... or maybe next Spring afetr the snow.....hahaha
Seriously I hate to copy from a Ford for my cab 11 C15a but the whole layout is so neat. After posting on MLU can you forward me a set of HI res to my home adsress so I can play enlarging certain features. Very nice job and Thanks much. Bob C

The C-15A pictured here...
I have had a couple of requests for more pics of the Cab 11 here. Yes it is a Ford, but with Chevy diffs. This was my first restoration project, it was taken apart/sandblasted/primed and painted/put back together...but the engine/brake/ work is not done. Really just a very complete, straight non runner. A beautiful straight 2B1 box. I got side tracked by the HUW/Laat/ Bofor/ Fat/C-8/ 17 pdr. restorations. I'm nuts. See pics. Cheers Rob

Cab 11 momgrel.....
Hi Rob.
Not unusual for the early Ford to have one or both GM axles. We have a Ford rolling frame at the barn with a similar set up. And the Kars museum has an early cab 11 CGT with the HD special cast front axle and heavy cast GM rear axle. What I find particularly interesting feature is the lack of the tool box on your cab 11. As far as I know the Chev cab 11 like mine had the tool box, which is configured inside to store two of the 2 gal POW cans. No spare tire bracket since they came equipped with run flat. Can I ask for one more picture.... focusing on the gas tank spout and the space between cab and cargo box. One more thing..... how is the 2B1 box held to the frame.... mine had 2 long bolts mounted upside down.... bottom and top were inserted into a flat piece of steel which pinched the frame, wood and box bottom U shape brace. Your is a very nice unmolested model. Still a few floating around out West....Terry had shown me pictures of a Ford F15a which was in similar original prestine condition and still running. Cheers PS two more observation....... your truck has helper springs and the stiff/rigid mirro arms......
