I would like to thank all the vendors that made the effort to attend. I know they make money and all that but it is a real commitment to show up. Andre Gibeault comes from Quebec, Chris from the faaaar north and so on. Brian Asbury only comes from up the street but he still has to load and unload all that stuff. It is fun to sit back and watch people as they arrive. We all say a few quick hello's but cut them short while we take that first race around the tables to find that elusive bargain that no one else has spotted yet. Then its time to visit the old friends and saunter back around the tables and have a proper visit. My only complaint is there were no donuts to buy. You can't imagine how much Peter and I suffered from that.
Was Stewart really there or was that an ugly rumor? ![]() Cheers, Barry

"portly", "rubenesque", or 'stout" - but not ugly. I was there, and even asked about your new truck when I was swapping plates with Brian. Heck, I even brought Jim Rice so he could see you - maybe we went for lunch too early. The peameal bacon sandwhich was good, tho'. If Peter can wangle a summer show in Acton we can see your newest truck. Stewart |
